BOMBERMAN WATER FIESTA! (2011)
GAME DESIGN

Collaboration with Harry Wong and JT Yean.

We have taken a virtual game "Bomberman" and translated it into a physical game. The aim was not the precise keeping of original rules, but rather it was about interpreting and adopting the virtual game into reality, while keeping the spirit of the game. The key essences of the original game- such as grids, positioning, and timing- still remained at the core of our game and art direction also followed the feel of the original game.At the end we have invited people to actually play out the game and it was a huge success. Big thank you to everyone who participated.
