TASCHEN FOR TABLETS (2011)
D&AD STUDENT AWARD NOMINATED

Collaboration with Duarte Carrilho da Graça.

Nominated project under the Digital Design category for D&AD Student Award 2011. The brief was set by Taschen to create tablet version of their magazine. Our core concept is to adapt to its medium so that the user can navigate intuitively. We wanted to create something that is honest to digital media, something that doesn't just imitate paper, but at the same time intuitive and simple. We definitely did not want to create something that is so complex that the readers have to read a manual when all they want to do is just quickly glance through the magazine.
